Accepted File Formats FAQ

File photo

- Acceptable Formats: EPS, AI, INDD, and PDF (recommended).
- Programs Supported: Adobe CS Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop. Please convert all fonts to outlines or curves.
- Operating System: MAC OS 10 / PC Windows
- Images: All photos/scanned images should be no less than 300dpi resolution. Photos and graphics taken from the internet are not printable. Please make sure files are CMYK, not RGB.
- Fonts: If you cannot convert your fonts to outlines or curves, please include them with your artwork.
- Bleeds: If your artwork has a bleed (where the ink prints to the edge of the paper), we need a 1/4” (0.25”) of bleed space around the entire document with crop marks.
- Uploading Your Artwork: There is a file upload option on the pricing calculator where you can upload your files or you can email your files to orderdesk@printstarbooklets.com
- If your files are too large to email, you can go to our FILE UPLOAD page. Make sure to include your name, contact information, and order number with any files you send.
